Our legal team at Lyons & Simmons, LLP is pleased to announce that six lawyers from our firm have been selected for inclusion in the 2016 Texas Super Lawyers® list. To develop this list, researchers with Thomson Reuters conduct a survey asking attorneys to nominate legal peers who provide exceptional representation and have outstanding work ethics. After lawyers have been nominated, a blue-ribbon panel of lawyers assists Super Lawyers® with the final selection. Only about 5% of Texas attorneys are selected for inclusion each year.
Michael Lyons, co-founder of the firm, congratulates the team’s achievements, stating, “We are appreciative to receive the recognition of our peers, as it demonstrates that others respect what we are doing for our clients. I have tremendous respect for the work of these outstanding lawyers, and I am so proud to work alongside them.”
Due to his dedication to providing top-tier legal solutions on behalf of his clients, Lyons was selected for inclusion in the Texas Super Lawyers® for the fourth year in a row. Day after day, he handles a wide range of catastrophic personal injury cases as well as high-exposure commercial litigation cases. Attorney Gregory Deans, co-founder of the firm, has also been selected for inclusion for a fourth consecutive year for his work in mass torts and civil litigation.
Attorney Jeff Nobles, a Houston partner, and Thomas Sartwelle, of counsel, have been selected to Super Lawyers® for the fourteenth consecutive year. Both lawyers focus their practices handling civil litigation and appellate cases.
Attorney Katherine Stepp and Attorney Brian Lauten, both of whom are Dallas partners, have been selected for inclusion for a third consecutive year. Both attorneys handle cases related to commercial and civil litigation, respectively.
The 2016 Texas Super Lawyers® List is featured in the October 2016 issues of Super Lawyers and Texas Monthly magazines.
